Why an interest in global health?

I am at a point in career where is is time for me to focus my efforts on building the next generation of nurse leaders and global health professionals.  I work with Hands for Americas to provide leadership and seek funding for health professional students to participate in global health volunteering and to become life long volunteers.

If HFGH got a $1 million donation, what would you spend it on?

Firstly with a million dollars I would fund most of the student costs for the global health trips,  Also I would focus on public health initiatives such as building eco-stoves, funding charla teaching, and an area wide initiative to eradicate lice and scabies, and build a water filtration system for the village.
